Got a wild idea? We build for service members — not the brass, not shareholders. If it's good, it ships.

Seattle is RIGHT THERE. You can see it across the Puget Sound, glittering like a promise someone made and technically kept. You can almost taste the overpriced coffee. But first you need to catch the ferry, which runs on a schedule designed by someone who has never actually needed to be anywhere on time — miss the boat and your 'quick trip to the city' becomes a 90-minute meditation on patience while the next ferry loads with the urgency of a retired Chief on a Sunday. Bremerton is what happens when the Navy puts a shipyard somewhere beautiful and the town says 'that's not really our problem, we were here first.' The rain doesn't stop from October to June, and your Chief will still hold formation outside because 'a little water never killed anyone' — a statement disproven by the Navy's own swim qual manual. The shipyard dominates everything: Puget Sound Naval Shipyard has been overhauling carriers and subs since 1891 and the smell of industrial-grade naval maintenance is Bremerton's cologne. The waterfront boardwalk is genuinely nice and has improved dramatically — actual breweries, restaurants, and a revitalization effort that's working. The Olympic Mountains are your western backdrop. Silverdale has the shopping. Poulsbo is a Norwegian-themed village with pastries. Your car will grow moss. Your rain jacket will become your identity. Seattle is right there. You're just never there.
